Project Underpass 2018
We’re launching to the public on 27 October 2018 with an artist walk open to the community.

We've seen some beautiful developments to the cycling trails of Bendigo in recent years. Most recently, the extended works to the Back Creek Trail that connects LaTrobe University Bendigo and the art and culture precincts of Bendigo.
In collaboration with Bike Bendigo and a grant from Creative Victoria we've painted the three cycling underpasses along Back Creek Trail.
Pink lines indicate the main cycling areas connected by the Back Creek Trail
Yellow line indicates the Latrobe to Chancery Lane suggested path, the roads along this path are most suitable for riders.
Blue line indicates some of the main roads in Bendigo that can be difficult to navigate by bike.
Before
The photographs above show the underpasses in order from Latrobe Bendigo Campus towards Bendigo CBD.
The Back Creek cycling path is an important link in Bendigo’s bicycle path network as it connects the Spring Gully with:
Central Bendigo.
The Bendigo Hospital.
The O'Keefe Trail.
Bendigo Creek Track.
This project has been a blast for the artists involved, and we are looking forward to teaming up with Bike Bendigo to deliver more than just these three epic painted walls.
If you love the idea then shout it out on social media and let Regional Centre for Culture know this is a good thing for your community with the hashtag #projectunderpass
